Mental Health First Aid Training

ABOUT THE EVENT

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence based, accredited program which will cover:

Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions
How to provide initial help
How to have a mental health conversation within the workplace (and beyond) 
Where to direct a person to get professional help
How to provide first aid in a crisis situation

The course also includes a Mental Health First Aid manual with invaluable information including how to access mental health services across Australia.

The sessions will be delivered by Zoom and will occur over two consecutive weeks.  

Thursday 7th & 14th August 2025: 9.30am - 12 noon (Brisbane time) both days 

You will complete a self-paced e-learning module of approximately 6 hours prior to joining 2 x 2.5 hr facilitator led Zoom sessions. 

This program will allow you to build skills, knowledge and confidence to have a mental health conversation in your workplace and beyond.

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive an accredited certificate, valid for 3 years.

After registration you will receive a code to access the e-learning content. You will also be supplied with a secure Zoom link for both dates.

Liz Tully is a Workplace Mental Health Specialist with 20+ years’ experience in corporate Human Resources roles across a range of industries including travel, retail, telco, FMCG and pharmaceuticals.

Places are strictly limited to 12 participants to adults over 18 years. The content is for Australian audiences only.

With over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources and as a licensed Mental Health First Aid instructor, Liz delivers tailored training, education, and advice to leaders and teams. She also helps businesses manage psychosocial hazards and build cultures that support mental wellbeing.
